YOU CAN'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER?

Were you surprised? It’s an old trick a few practical jokers used to evacuate our school library in fifth form. Hollowed books containing tiny bottles of carefully measured quantities of iron filings and hydrochloric acid, placed among books in the library, released the rotten egg gas, well after our period ended. Sure caused a stink!

The cover, image, size, texture are critical in publishing a novel.

However, the cover may promise the earth, but end delivering a hole … into which you want to bury the book.

Readers, who receive my latest book, ‘Wall of Tears’ often say, ‘Love the look, love the feel, a powerful story!’

My hope is the cover will stimulate you to feel the passion in the pages, allow the story to challenge your thinking and then place it among your valued reading.
